My Grounding Journey
The decades I spent studying and practicing Shamanic Energy work, I prioritized grounding. I do it in journeys, meditation, and have trained myself to ground quickly in upsetting or adverse situations. A friend mentioned a documentary she watched about 'Earthing' and I will admit I kind of rolled my eyes, I KNOW about grounding.. duh (have you met me...?) ...and because my devices listen to me, I kept seeing ads for the documentary on social media platforms. I finally caved and watched it. And I LOVED it, I love when science catches up to different aspects of the woo-woo. SO then I kept getting ads for 'grounding sheets' (insert more eye rolling on my part. I scoffed at them as taking advantage of a popular thought process until a decidedly NON WOO WOO friend mentioned she had one and never felt better. Well, I am a sucker for a good experiment!
What I did
I ordered a Grounding Sheet from Down to Ground, I received it, promptly forgot about it and woke up well rested and realizing two things:
1. My sleep had not been interrupted by pain as I flip flopped about in bed (I have arthritis in my shoulders) and...
2. I woke up with out my newly developed 'trigger finger' jacked into place. Was it still a bit swollen and sore? Yes, but it was not locked into place, which had become an every morning occurrence for the last 4 months.
